My daughter once asked me why kept getting dressed for work if i work from. I let her know that I didn't get dressed up for work I got dressed up because I was playing dress up.
I have fun dressing up for my day based on my mood. Some days I feel like a gypsy and i want to pull terrot card in between calls and some days I want to look like I'm going to a fancy dinner in France.
Life is to short to stress over if anyone is going to see your outfit. You're going to see your outfit and that's enough.
Love main character energy, even if it's the tossled mess of a girl. Cause she decides by the end of the film that self-love is better than anything anyone else can give. She realizes she is the love of her life. So yes. Romanticize life. Have the boldest, lovliest, and most intoxicating love affair with yourself through this messy, beautiful world.
It really is the small things that make life worth it. I cherish nothing more than going for breakfast with my favourite person every week; I live for it.
i absolutely love the aesthetic you’re going for! it definitely feels like i’m talking to a friend and i feel we need more blogs like this. would love to see more of your stuff! 🫶🏽
Loved reading this. The tone you use allows the words to land perfectly. That’s the beauty of Substack, all the different styles mean you take in such a variety of writing, you get a full spectrum of all the things you need.
Being real with yourself is the most important thing you can do. And celebrate all of life's little moments because those are what add up to something worth living.
“Those little things? They’re not fixing your problems, but they’re like tiny middle fingers to the chaos, saying, “I’m still here, and I’m gonna make this moment mine.”
I love that line… little things that means enough🤙🏽

Seems ok to me.
I think it’s kinda neutral. Doesn’t seem to be up or down mood wise particularly. Words flow nicely. Good work!
Thank you for your kind words❤️. I really appreciate that you took your time to read and comment, this means a lot to me.
Mission accomplished you sound very much like a friend

Oh yeah! Life is really never boring when you romanticize. I mean even an ant crawling on my kitchen floor becomes the miracle of life it truly is!
Thanks for reminding us that magic isn't only in big events, but in the small, intentional rituals we build into daily life.
